Troop 20 Has 13% of Coastal Carolina Council’s Eagle Scouts in 2024

Troop 20 had 11 Eagle Scouts in 2024 making up 13% of the Coastal Carolina Council's Eagles! Here are some of them and what they have planned for their future!

Grange Simons – Freshman “Knob” @ Citadel Military College where he is member of the Honor Band playing bagpipes.

Luke Pawlik – Senior @ Phillip Simmons High School.   Varsity Soccer Starter.    Headed to Clemon Univ to study Architecture.

Ryan Thurber – Senior @ Lucy Beckham High School.   Deciding between LSU or Aurburn Univ where he will attend fall 2025, study Communications & work with the football team shooting video & creating online content.

Henry Black – Senior @ Porter Gaud High School.   Varsity Lacrosse Player.    Attending Auburn Univ. fall 2025 to study Engineering.

Connor Neal – Varsity football, wrestler & All-American Lacrosse player @ Wando High School.    Currently Freshman studying Computer Science & Business Analytics @ Anderson Univ where he plays D2 Lacrosse for the Trojans.

Tymer Garris.    Senior @ Lucy Beckham High School where he played Varsity Football.   Will attend Clemson Univ. fall 2025.    Has (2) Eagle Scout & (1) Life Rank Brothers, all from Troop 20.

Zach Terese - Senior Wando High School, AFJROTC Flight Commander, SCUBA diver, currently working on private pilot license and plans to attend Embry-Riddle University.

Matthew Fortson – Senior @ Porter Gaud High School.    State Champion Swimmer.    Headed to West Point Army Service Academy where he will continue swimming & join his T20 Eagle Scout Brother, Jack Fortson.
