Greetings Scouters,
We are thrilled to announce some exciting news for our scouts, families, and leaders—our new website is now live! Visit us at www.CoastalCarolinaCouncil.org. We have revamped the site to make it more user-friendly and convenient for everyone to post new articles for publication on our website and for consideration in Scout and About magazine.
Our updated calendar now allows for easy one-click registration for most activities. Simply click on the top right of the calendar to access the agenda tab, where you'll find all the details about upcoming events. Our new website offers almost all the resources you’ll need for future training, youth protection, and more, with several important links to make navigation easier. You’ll also find up-to-date information about our Friends of Scouting campaign and how close we are to reaching our annual goal.
If you’d like to support our efforts, you can easily click the donate button and
choose from several options to contribute toward achieving our FOS goal for the year.
We strongly encourage you to upload posts about Merit Badge courses, Community Service projects, Eagle Scout projects, and more. Be sure to include high-resolution photos so everyone can appreciate the great work our scouts and units are doing. We also want to share the exciting adventures our scouts are experiencing, such as Sea Scout Ship #50’s recent cruise in the British Virgin Islands.
To submit your article, please visit our website at www.CoastalCarolinaCouncil.org. Complete a one-time registration at this link: https://coastalcarolinacouncil.org/author-registration/ to become our next published author. If you encounter any technical difficulties or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Emily Wilber at Emily.Wilber@Scouting.org or call the scout office at (843) 763-0305.
We hope you enjoy our new platform and find it easier to navigate as a Scouter. We look
forward to seeing the articles you’ll upload in the future and sharing them with our more than 6,500 subscribers.
Yours in Scouting,
Bobby C. Baker, MD
